KIGG can provide Transformer maintenance services from the initial installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance and repair to the final decommissioning.
KIGG maintenance work is fully documented on reports sheets with accordance to BS 6626 and internationals standards.
All reports are entered onto our computer database and stored so that when required previous reports may be viewed within seconds.
We have staff trained and conversant with equipment ranging from distribution boards up to 132kV circuit breakers and maintain a library of manufacturers’ information regarding electrical distribution equipment. Indeed, many modification and repair circulars issued by manufacturers to our clients are passed on to us, as it is usually Power Testing Ltd. that will be carrying out any modifications or checks detailed in such circulars.
Although we cannot hold stocks of all spare parts that would be needed, we do however hold many useful items in stock and we have built up useful working relationships with companies specializing in the keeping and reconditioning of such spares. In this way, we can generally arrange for spares to be available on site at short notice.
